Presentation (US)

Recognizing the strategic role of Collective Health for regional development, an agenda of research priorities was defined, in order to create and strengthen research groups in Collective Health at UEA in integration with the research groups of the Institute of Social Medicine of the University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (IMS-UERJ). The cooperation process between the two institutions included the qualification of professors at the doctoral level capable of working in the articulation between research and technical-scientific cooperation in the field of Public Health, from a critical and reflective perspective, in line with the priorities of research in Brazil and the demands and needs of public policies, with emphasis on the SUS.
